The southern part of the large marina in Biograd belongs to the Marina Sangulin, with 200 berths and all services of a modern marina. Here you can also moor briefly for shopping, you can lie here 3 hrs free of charge.
The city of Biograd has, in addition to the many shopping opportunities, restaurants, hospital, post office, etc. also some sights to offer. The old town center is located on the small peninsula south of the marina.
Biograd was first mentioned in the 10th century and has been the seat of Croatian kings and bishops since the 11th century.The Venetians destroyed the town in 1125. The city wall with round towers was demolished at the end of the 19th century. The monastery church of St. John, a three-aisled basilica is preserved, only ruins of the church of St. Thomas are left. The parish church of St. Anastasia, built in 1761, contains baroque altars. An archaeological collection with prehistoric, ancient and old Croatian exhibits can be admired in the local museum.
