In the Lauenburg inland port (lock canal), the speed limit is 4km/h. When entering from the Elbe, the direction of concreting changes, irritations are possible. In front of the shipyards, the slips and brightings extend far out into the fairway (observe the buoys). Despite the opposite direction of the current, here and in the following Elbe-Lübeck Canal you are on the downstream side. In front of the lock, there is a shortage of places to wait for pleasure boats - if necessary, you should moor behind a dolphin and refrain from driving back and forth.
