Description

Small, renovated harbor for sports and fishing boats in the eastern part of the Saaler Bodden (public water hiking rest area)

Navigation

The approach is only recommended during the day. From buoy pair 65/78 of the fairway to Ribnitz a privately buoyed channel leads into the harbor. The use of an echo sounder is recommended for vessels with a draught of more than 1.5 m. The approach has a nominal depth of 1.6 m. Outside the fairway, the water is very shallow. At the inlet on the port side there is a large stone at a water depth of 0.2m.

Berths

There are a limited number of guest berths on the starboard side with a water depth of 1.7m. The outermost, northern part of the breakwater is used by a passenger ship and should be kept clear. In the southern part of the harbor are the berths of the public water hiking rest area with a water depth of 1.5m.

Surroundings

Sanitary facilities are available. There is a small snack bar in the harbor, the nearest store is in Saal. The Bodden hiking trail leads directly past the harbor. There is a small, artificial bathing beach to the west of the harbor pier.

Haben auch die Navigationsbeschreibung des Hafenlotsens befolgt, und sind auf Grund gelaufen. Unbedingt der Betonnung folgen!

Wer der Einfahrtsanweisung aus dem Häfen lotsen folgt, läuft kurz nach der Tonne 67 auf Grund. Ist mir heute mit nur 70 cm Tiefgang passiert. Die Einfahrt ist nur vom Tonnenpaar 65/78 über die privat betonte Rinne möglich!!! Die Karte und der Hafen Lotse müssen korrigiert werden.
