NV Cruising Guide
Navigation
This deep and sheltered natural harbour is located on the south-east side of Menorca. Approach and entry are simple and straightforward and can be done even in rough weather. The entrance between Punta de San Carles and the peninsula La Mola is buoyed and illuminated. Some islands lie in the fjord-like bay, but the water is deep to just below the shore in most places.
Berths
There are several berthing options for yachts:
Marina Menorca offers berths from 5-60 m in
length, spread over several locations in the harbour.
Marina Port Mahón has 165 berths up to 50 m (LOA)
on five jetties and is located close to the city.
Club Marítimo de Mahón has around 50 berths (up to
35 m), most of which are available to visitors; very central
location, which makes it a very busy marina.
